Marnina and Micah had a pitch-perfect wedding, minus the venue burning down. Oh, and the bed bugs. And the judgmental couples therapist. But they made it to their honeymoon because together, “there’s nothing they can’t sing and laugh their way through” (New York Times)!
Musical comedy duo Couplet narrowly escapes calamity at every turn, guitar and fiddle in hand. Are they cursed? Are they blessed? Can one wedding save the world?? With catchy songs and Muppet-y energy, they tell the story of their wedding that almost didn’t happen.
After getting married this year, Couplet honeymooned at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where their show Honey Honey Moon Moon was met with five-star reviews and audience acclaim. Their comedy songs have been featured in the New York Times, The Guardian, and BBC Radio, and have garnered millions of views online.
“Pitch-perfect… compulsively watchable… genuinely stunning… hilarious” – The Jewish Chronicle
“So charming, they could turn even the stoniest cynic into a Romeo-level romantic” – EdFest Magazine
“Feral and wild charm… amazing, heartwarming stuff” – Starburst Magazine
“Fond, endearing, consistently entertaining!” – The Scotsman
“The joy is real.” – Chortle Magazine
“An absolute gem.” – Sam Reich (Dropout TV)
